The Poster Child of Excellence, Enterprise and Intent (and it’s Free!)
While you are here, be sure to register for our program and we will send you a complimentary limited-edition poster! Created to promote the design awards, it not only features key pieces of information about our program, it also tells the story behind its construction.
Designed by Studio Lin, who also designed our awards identity, the poster’s function is twofold: a call for entries and, on the reverse side, a wall calendar. Displaying the full 2012 year, the calendar calls out key dates and deadlines for the awards program which registrants and entrants will find particularly handy. Thus, the poster doubles as an organizing tool that captures the spirit of our awards program by recognizing the time and effort behind great designs.
We acknowledge the quality and materials and collaborations that went into the poster itself. Print nerds may be interested to know that the poster uses Mohawk’s Superfine Ultrawhite Eggshell 70 lb. Text 2/2 stock, and Pantone 021U and Gold 871U. Rhode Island’s Meridian Printing did a fine job of the printing, folding and delivery of this artifact. The folding itself was integral to the design in the way that it reveals the identity and making of the poster in the initial unfurling.
The poster is a wonderful commemorative item for our 2012 program and we have a bountiful supply of these exquisite display pieces. Register early and we’ll mail you one to display on your studio or classroom wall as you prepare your entries.
