The Core77 Design Awards trophy allows winners to share the glory.

Instead of flying jurors to one city, we have selected 20 esteemed Jury Captains – at least one for each of the 17 award categories – distributed in host cities around the world. Each Jury Captain will recruit 3 local experts to their team. That’s over 70 individuals in 13 cities across 8 countries representing the 2012 jury line-up.

During our Results Week in July, each jury team will reveal their winning choices in a live announcement broadcast from their home city, in their local time zone. A truly global awards event not to be missed.

Since designers are great at showing and telling, the Core77 Design Awards provides them with the opportunity to share their “real story” (beyond the customary jpegs, PDFs and text) with the jury through DIY, honest, 2.5 minute video testimonials.
